On the morning of Saturday, January 7, 2023, a resident of Ponchatoula passed away at his home. She is from the Enon community and was a longtime Prairieville resident. Joy likes gardening because her flowers are beautiful. She holds a special place in her heart for her dog Bree and always enjoys spending time with her family.
Brother-in-law and a sister-in-law: Ronald Birch.
She was preceded by her husband Lynnis Don Cheek, Jr., father Joseph Patrick Harrington, mother and stepfather Joyce Crawford Sharp and Andrew Sharp, and sister Patti Annette Burch.
Viewings are Wednesday, January 11 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with the Reverend Leon Hickman officiating. Funeral services will be held at Spencer Cemetery.
