- The globe has gone wild over pop artist
Shakira’s recent duet with Argentine musician and YouTuber Bizzarap. The music sensation has attacked her ex-husband footballer Gearard Pique in numerous of her new songs since their contentious divorce.
However, the 45-year-old diva recently performed one of her previously unpublished songs on Bizzarap’s YouTube program, BZRP Music Session, in which she made the sharpest possible digs at the footballer and his supposed girlfriend.
Bizzarap’s show has previously included artists including Residente, Paulo Londra, and Villano Antillano. They have combined the futuristic beats of the YouTuber to recreate their popular songs.
However, Shakira’s participation in the program was surprising for a variety of reasons, the most important of which is that she is far too famous to be participating on Bizzarap. But on Wednesday, she was there, letting her heart be known.
Una loba como mi no esta pa’ tipos como tu, which is essentially “A wolf like me isn’t for guys like you,” is what she sung in Spanish.
The 45-year-old made a sly allusion to her 2009 single She Wolf, giving it a new meaning in light of her separation from her husband of 11 years.
She continued singing in Spanish, saying, “I won’t get back with you, not if you cry, not even if you beg me.”
It’s obvious that if people criticize you, it’s not my responsibility. I’m sorry if my music splashes you; I just make music.
She then refers to her ex-husband directly by using the Spanish word “salapique.”
The two had previously worked together on the track Monotonia, which was released in October 2022. Shakira is pictured in the song’s music video going through the streets with a hole in her chest as passersby step on her heart.
