Chad Stahelski is a film director, stunt coordinator, and former stuntman. He is best known for directing the John Wick film series.
Chad Stahelski started his career as a stuntman, working on films such as The Crow and The Matrix. He then became a stunt coordinator, working on several films, including The Hunger Games and The Expendables. In 2014, he made his directorial debut with John Wick, which was a critical and commercial success. He has since directed John Wick: Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

Chad Stahelski was born in Utah, USA in 1968. He grew up in California and started practicing martial arts at a young age. He eventually earned a black belt in judo and a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He has also worked as a fight choreographer and has trained many actors in martial arts for their roles in films.
Chad Stahelski co-founded the stunt company 87Eleven Action Design in 1997, which has since become one of the most prominent stunt companies in the film industry. He has won several awards for his work as a stunt coordinator, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition to the John Wick films, he has directed episodes of the TV series The Player and the pilot episode of the upcoming TV series The Continental, which is a spin-off of the John Wick films.
