Chelsea, according to reports, has finalized the signing of a new player before the January 2024 transfer window officially opens in the Premier League.
Chelsea had reportedly finalized the deal to sign the Brazilian wunderkind Gabriel Moscardo from the club side Corinthians, in a deal estimated to have worth over 25 million euros. The Blues had been in a race alongside Arsenal, PSG and other to sign the 18-year-old midfielder.
Other reports from popular sports journalist Fabrizio Romano indicates that Chelsea have not reached an agreement with Corinthians as initially speculated by reports and indicates that Ligue 1 side PSG are leading the frontlines to sign the young midfielder.
Fabrizio reports that due to the fact that Chelsea have a lot of youngsters on their rooster this might not be a move the club might consider in January 2024.
