American singer Chris Brown has declared, “Wizkid is my brother for life”.
The renowned American singer, Chris Brown, has proclaimed Grammy award-winner Wizkid as his lifelong brother. Chris Brown made this declaration in a post shared by luthortv.
Explaining his reasons, Chris Brown stated that although he has performed throughout America all his life, he had never been to the UK until Wizkid invited him to perform at his O2 Arena concert in 2021.
He further mentioned that Wizkid covered all his expenses, leaving him astonished by the profound affection shown towards him.
“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America and had not gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his 02 Arena concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life.”
Recall that Brown was banned from the UK in 2009, after pleading guilty to assaulting his then girlfriend, Rihanna.
In 2010, the UK government reportedly cited his conviction as the reason for denying him entry. The development affected his ability to perform there for some time.
