Anita Pointer was one of the Grammy award-winning Pointer Sisters. She was part of hits like I’m So Excited and Automatic. Reportedly, the Pointer Sister Anita Pointer died in the presence of her beloved family members in her California home in Beverly Hills. Her passing was confirmed by her publicist named Roger Neal. The singer died on the occasion of New Year’s eve. Roger Neal said, “She was the one that kept all of us close and together for so long, Her love of our family will live on in each of us. While expressing their sorrow over Anita’s death, her family members said, “While we are deeply saddened by the loss of Anita, we are comforted in knowing she is now with her daughter Jada and her sisters June and Bonnie and at peace.” Speaking about Anita Pointer’s sister, the sisters are from Oakland, California.
