Six countries have booked their spot ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations that will be hosted in the Ivory Coast next year (2023).
The qualification of these teams was confirmed on match day three and four at the just concluded FIFA International break which was player across most parts of Africa. The host nation Ivory Coast are the first team to book its spot in the competition.
The Terenga Lions of Senegal have booked their spot in the next edition of the tournament following an impressive group stage round of matches. The West Africans will hope they can replicate the feat which they achieved at the last edition which was hosted in Cameroon.
Morocco continued to show the world that their performance at the just concluded 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup was not a fluke as they have booked qualification for the nations cup with two games to spare.
Other nations that have booked their spot are South Africa, Burkina Faso, and Algeria. There are still 18 spots left for grabs by the other teams in the group.
