Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has denied claims of being related to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer who gained attention after receiving a promise of money from Afrobeats star Burna Boy.
In an Instagram story on Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest clarified that the man in the viral video, alleged to be his brother, has no ties to him.
Burna Boy had pledged $30,000 to Bethel, sparking widespread interest and speculation about Cubana Chief Priest’s connection to the young man.
Cubana wrote, “Alleged brother! Skit makers f**kin oppressors. They kneel him down, you will still bend him down because the pain must reach everyone. But my concern is no alert, no cash. I want to be sure my village boy collected for real. It’s still my glorious glory. Show the workings; you can even give him a verse.”
Cubana Chief Priest emphasized that he has only three biological siblings—one brother and two sisters—who are all self-sufficient and do not rely on him for financial support.
Previously, Punch Online reported that Afrobeats artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, and Cubana Chief Priest were embroiled in a heated feud, attracting widespread attention online.
