Nigerian singer and songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has made his first public appearance in Osun State after his son, Ifeanyi’s demise.
Davido who lost his first son in October was at the inauguration of his uncle, Nurudeen Adeleke as the governor of the state. The music star had been grieving the loss of his son as he became inactive on social media platforms and avoided public events.
Furthermore, in a series of photos posted by his aide, Israel DMW on Instagram, Davido was seen in the company of his crew donning a sky blue agbada and putting on a dark shade glasses. Israel DMW captioned the pictures, “OGA, NO GO EVER MINUS. WE OUTSIDE. @adeleke_01 OSUN STATE GOVERNOR.”
Meanwhile, the three-year-old child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who was the first son of Davido and his third baby mama, Chioma Rowland drowned in a pool at the singer’s Banana Island residence on October 31, 2022.
In addition, Sunday’s inauguration comes months after Adeleke, the gubernatorial flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), secured 403,371 votes to defeat Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.
