Manu Rios is denouncing an artificial intelligence-generated movie that, after it became famous, appears to show him performing an immoral conduct. The 24-year-old actor, whom you may recognise from the upcoming Strange Way of Life and Netflix’s Elite, posted a response on social media in response to a video that appeared to show him indulging. He intermittently tweeted about the false photograph, making it quite clear that it was not real. Manu also spoke against the ways that the internet might be used to disseminate lies in a brief but powerful statement.
Manu adamantly stated on Twitter that he did not actually capture the video on Sunday, June 11. That video is fake, he wrote. The “internet f-cking can f-cking be scary and weird sometimes.”
