Chelsea FC has announced the sacking of head coach Graham Potter after a woeful outing in all club competitions since he took over.
In an official statement Chelsea FC has announced the sacking of head coach following a disastrous run of form in all club competitions since the former Brighton manager took over in the 2022/2023 season.
Chelsea confirmed that the former Brighton manager had departed from the club after aiding the transition under the new ownership, the news however did not come as a shock to many as Chelsea has had one of the worse run of forms in the past decade in Europe.
The blues who lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge recorded one of the poorest run of form at home winning only 3 of the last 10 matches played at the bridge.
The form and identity of the club had been under heavy scrutiny since Potter took over and the blues dropping to 11th place with just 15 points away from relegation might have been the final straw in helping the board of directors in making their decision to let Potter who was the 4th highest paid manager in Europe go.
