Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and Balogun Eletu also known as Sam Larry have made their first public appearance alongside fellow Marlian signee, Zinoleesky, following their recent release from police custody.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry were entangled in legal troubles after being arraigned and remanded on October 6. The charges against them relate to their alleged involvement in the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
The duo’s legal ordeal came to an end on Friday, November 17, as they were released from custody after meeting the stipulated bail conditions. However, their emergence back into the public eye on Tuesday, November 28, has stirred fresh controversy.
A video captured Naira Marley and Sam Larry in high spirits, accompanied by Marlian signee Zinoleesky. Zinoleesky’s alleged betrayal of Mohbad, the deceased singer at the centre of the legal saga, adds fuel to the fire. In the video, all three men can be seen laughing and throwing up hand signs as they pose for the camera, moments before getting into a car.
The release of this video has reignited outrage among fans of Mohbad, who are expressing renewed discontent over the situation. The controversy surrounding the trio’s public appearance raises questions about alliances within the Marlian camp and the dynamics surrounding Mohbad’s unfortunate demise.
As the story unfolds, the music industry and fans alike are left to speculate on the implications of this reunion and its potential impact on the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
