Music crossover season is well underway and the Queen of Hip-hop, Nicki Minaj, seems set to join the group chat and have a bit of fun with it as she shares intentions to not only collaborate with a Ghanaian artiste but also visit Ghana.
Connecting to her fans via a livestream tagged “Dear Grammys”, the rapper had shared this information in response to a fan’s question on when she’d be coming to Ghana, she said; “I’ll love to come to Ghana, I actually may be doing something major, a business type of situation with an artiste from Ghana very soon.”
Nicki Minaj’s livestream had however primarily been a space where she expressed her grouse with the Recording Academy, Grammys, for taking her hit single, Super Freaky Girl off the Best Rap Single category. So far, Nicki Minaj is yet to collaborate with an African-based artiste but had given Wizkid’s Essence raving reviews, stating to media personality, Joe Budden, that it was the song of the summer.
