Both players are the centre of attraction ahead of the competition as they posed , in what looks like the last World Cup dance for both players. Messi and Ronaldo will be looking to lead their countries ( Argentina and Portugal) respectively to victory at the end of the competition on December 18th, 2022.

The Players posted the picture on their official Instagram accounts at the same time on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, a few hours before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The players also had the same caption on the post, “Victory is a state of mind, a long tradition of crafting trunks”.
There have been predictions among some football fans that the final of this World Cup will be between Portugal and Argentina.
Portugal have been placed in Group H alongside, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea while Argentina are in Group C along with Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
