Abbey Toheeb Elias, the popular Nigerian musician, who is popularly known as Skiibii, has reacted to an allegation by TikToker Nickie Dabarbie that he attempted to use her for money rituals.
Earlier on Friday, Nickie, born Precious Kingsley, claimed that she had “escaped from being used for rituals” by Skiibii.
In a series of posts via her Instagram page, she narrated how the singer invited her to his house for a boat cruise.
The TikToker claimed that Skiibii “forced” her to take “alcohol before trying to kill me”.
The social media influencer also alleged that “Mayorkun and some other Nigerian artistes are all ritualists”.
She shared a video of deep cuts to her hand being stitched together, claiming it was a result of the attack by Skiibii.
“I just escaped from being used for rituals by Skiibii,” she said.
“They will try hard to clear their names and I might die. I might not have much evidence. They will do everything to tarnish my name to save Skiibii.
“I was invited for a boat cruise and since then I haven’t gotten myself. I went there with no bad intention.
“I felt it was safe because he is a public figure and we spoke for a while before I even accepted the boat cruise. It was never about money. I’m not a prostitute.
“On the boat cruise I was forced to take alcohol. After that drink I just started liking him.
“God said I’ll be the last girl they will ever do that to. I’m not the first or the second, plenty girls did not escape this.
“I heard a voice that said the God you serve cannot save your life! Then I told him to repent and he said he has no reason to repent cause my God is powerless.
“Skiibii said ‘Alhamdulilah’ before he gave me an infused coffee to drink. They might arrest me for this. They tried to take my greatness, but it didn’t work.
“They tried to kill me, but it didn’t work. Literally all the people that live in Orile Ilasan are in this same cult.
“There is one popular dark-skinned influencer that died this exact way. First, they tell you they love you, drug you and use you for ritual.
“Then make people think you’re a maniac or mentally disabled. They tried to erase my memories with incantations, but it did not work.
“Then they took me to a weird hospital in Osapa (First City Hospital) where I was the only patient. Meanwhile, they all work together. They stitched my wounds and injected me with a substance that will dehydrate me.”
Reacting via his Instastory, Skiibii described Nickie’s allegations as “completely false”.
The 31-year-old singer said he had reported the incident to the police for a thorough investigation.
“I want to clarify that the narratives being circulated by people and various blogs are completely false and the truth will come to light on all fronts,” he wrote.
“I have reported the incident to the Nigerian Police Force because there is nothing to hide.
“I trust that they will conduct a thorough investigation. I will let the law take its course to its full measure this time.”
