Watch Video of A Giant Squid Filmed in The Open Sea
Two Japanese divers, Yosuke Tanaka and his wife Miki, were able to take a unique photo of a massive 2.5-meter squid prowling the west coast of the Japanese archipelago.
Recent film of a massive 2.5-meter squid prowling the west coast of the Japanese archipelago was captured by two Japanese divers, who called the event “thrilling.”
The enormous squid had been discovered near the surface of a bay, so Yosuke Tanaka and his wife Miki, diving instructors in Toyooka, Hyogo (western) Prefecture, set out by boat to meet him on the rock for support. A gigantic squid is there, Yosuka Tanaka told AFP.
While scuba diving off Japan’s west coast, Yosuke Tanaka and his wife came spotted a massive 8-foot squid.
It doesn’t move as quickly as a lot of fish and other marine species, he continued. Its fins and tentacles were swimming quite slowly. Divers noticed that the squid appeared frail and that its skin appeared to be separating.

Tanaka claimed that the creature’s enormous size and eyes caused him to visualize how strong the squid would be to attack the whale. Its tentacles were moving, which I could see. I believed that being snatched up and carried off by this beast would be dangerous,” he continued. Although they are rarely seen swimming in the ocean, giant squid have been reported to swim through the waters off Japan and occasionally wash ashore.
“So happy. The diver said, “I don’t believe there is anything more uncommon than this sight. “From what I’ve heard, not much is known about this monster. I would be pleased if it allowed us to learn more.
