Recent events have left Rubi Rose’s father shaken.
Rubi Rose posted a video to her Instagram Story on Saturday, August 13, showing her waking up in the morning and startling her father when she was dressed only in her panties for a singing class. In the clip, Rubi Rose is seen singing in front of her father. At the beginning of the video, a freshman in the class of 2021 XXL can be seen making her way to another room in her father’s apartment.

In the video, Rubi can be heard saying, “It’s seven o’clock in the morning, and that’s all I hear in the crib,” as she enters her study and carefully opens the door. The focus of the camera then shifts to her father, who looks like he’s taking singing classes. The sudden movement startled her father, but the fact that she was staring at him brought a sense of comfort to him. He joked with her and urged her to “Get out.”
The caption that Rubi added to the video was very hilarious: “My dad so funny I can’t.”
It is currently unknown whether or if Ruby Rose’s father, John Benton, would pursue a career in music like that of his daughter. At the moment, Mr. Benton’s career as an attorney is going quite swimmingly.
Ruby has a very strong relationship with her father. On occasion, Mr. Benton will make a cameo appearance in her video blog, which may be found on his YouTube account.
