During Halloween in 2006, Nikki Catsouras was traveling at approximately 100 mph on State Route 241, near Lake Forest, Calif., when she clipped another vehicle and lost control, crossing over the median and hitting a concrete tollbooth. Instantly, she died.
Her head was more or less cut in two and cleaved and smashed.
