A subsequent post also read, “This is Amsterdam by the way, where marijuana is legal.” Additionally, Minaj recorded a video of what seemed to be an airport staff member requesting to inspect her luggage. It remains uncertain whether Minaj’s performance at Co-op Live will be impacted.
Asked about Minaj, Robert van Kapel, a spokesman for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, informed media outlet Sky News’ partner network NBC News: “We can confirm that we have arrested a 41-year-old American woman at Schiphol Airport because of possession of soft drugs.”
