Wizkid‘s “Morayo Album,” released on November 22, 2024, marks his sixth studio album.

The title “Morayo,” meaning “I see joy” in Yoruba, is a homage to Wizkid’s late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.

The album, comprising 16 tracks, includes collaborations with artists like Asake, Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola, and Anaïs. Highlight tracks are “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, “Kese (Dance),” and “Bad Girl” with Asake.

It fuses Wizkid’s iconic Afrobeats style with intimate themes, serving as a poignant tribute to his mother.
